Tod Cutler – Brass Mace Head 3 – 12th to 14th Century Medieval Europe / Scandinavia

SKU: TC35 Category: Tag:

$54.00

In stock

This multi-pronged mace head is cast entirely from solid brass and has an internal hollow socket which allows it to be mounted onto your own wooden haft. Pre-drilled holes in the side of the brass head accommodate rivets or pins to assist in securing the mace head onto a haft (this mounting hardware is not included). From Tod Cutler of the UK.

This many-pronged mace head design is dated to the 12th to 14th centuries in Europe, particularly Scandinavia.

Please Note: We do sell short, hardwood Ash poles which can be used to make a haft for this mace. They do not fit the socket automatically and will require some tapering and shaping of the haft to get a good fit. These ash poles can be found with a thumbnail link in the ”also available” section of this page.
