    1. Dave K.

Another excellent member of the Gavelin collection The Swedish historical line of swords were originally privately contratced by Gavelin Antiques of Stockholm. He recently cut back operations and released the swords for sle outside of Europe.

What is particularly different about this series is that the buyer provided USI with fairly detailed build data. This means the the handling dynamics come fairly close to historical.

The 1685 was one of the earliest pieces to gety to KoA and it is excellent. This heavy cavalry sword is a matter of acquired taste. It is meant to produce more force and to also be used with the point. This succeeds on both counts.

Got a sharpening done by KoA. They did a nice job on this.

      Recommend gauntlets in handling this.
